Building Water Security and Resilience across Africa
Launched in September 2024 by the Coca-Cola Africa Operating Unit and bottling partners, this collective action program is led by GWC and implemented by a consortium of partners including The Nature Conservancy, The International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN) and the World Wildlife Fund (WWF).
The initiative builds on The Coca-Cola Foundation (TCCF)’s highly impactful Replenish Africa Initiative (RAIN), a decade-long program that positively impacted over seven million people through WASH and other water-related initiatives.
The Africa Water Stewardship Initiative has launched 10 projects and established a collective action platform to mobilize resources and stakeholders across key basins throughout the continent.
