The Kohler Trust for Clean Water (KTCW) selected Global Water Challenge to identify and manage a high impact project portfolio that mobilizes clean water access for high need “last mile” communities across the US.
IMPACT
In the program’s first year, GWC partnered with the Water Finance Exchange (WFX) and the Rural Community Assistance Program (RCAP) to deliver last-mile water access to 94,000+ people across 81+ vulnerable communities in Texas, Alabama and New Mexico.
By 2027, GWC plans to reach another 400,000+ people across 37 communities in Texas, Arkansas, Mississippi, Alabama, Tennessee, Kentucky and West Virginia through partnerships with WFX, Communities Unlimited and Dig Deep.
