Inspired by Project Last Mile, a leading public-private health partnership, Next Mile Ventures applies its technical assistance model to WASH enterprises, among others, leveraging the expertise and networks of fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) specialists and the Coca-Cola ecosystem to help these enterprises reach more people, more efficiently.

Through field observations, time-motion studies, and route mapping, NMV supported Fresh Life to redesign collection routes, improve crew productivity, and maximize vehicle utilization across East Africa’s fastest growing urban center – Nairobi.

Drawing from Coca-Cola system best practice in logistics, NMV is also introducing fleet performance metrics and preventative maintenance practices to reduce operating costs and improve service reliability.
